Who we are
Smart Motorz is the trade name (DBA) of United Brothers Automotive LLC, a used car dealership located at 111 Central Ave S, Kent, WA 98032. You can reach us at (253) 236-8984 or through the contact form on this site. This policy covers information collected through smartmotorz.com.
Information we collect
When you use a form on this site — to schedule a test drive, request financing, contact us, or ask our AI assistant a question — we may collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- The vehicle(s) you're interested in
- Financing-related details you choose to share (employment status, approximate income, down payment, credit self-assessment) — we never ask for a Social Security number or bank account details through this website
- Messages and questions you send our AI assistant ("Sam") or through a contact form
- Basic technical information (browser type, pages visited) via standard web server logs
- Website usage events — which pages and vehicles you view, the page that referred you, when you open the AI assistant, and the questions you type into it — collected through our website platform (see "Service providers" below). These are tied to a random session identifier that lasts only for your current browser tab, not to your name, and are not used for advertising.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiry, schedule a test drive, or follow up on a financing request
- Provide you with vehicle pricing, payment estimates, and availability
- Improve our inventory, service, and this website
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with lenders or financing partners when you submit a financing request, so they can evaluate your application.
Service providers
We use Lead Friendly, a dealership lead-management and website platform, to operate this website's contact and financing forms, our AI assistant, and our website analytics. When you submit a form or use the AI assistant, the information you provide — and the usage events described above — are transmitted to and processed by Lead Friendly on our behalf so we can respond to you and manage your request. Lead Friendly acts as our service provider and does not sell this information.
When you request financing, sensitive application details (such as date of birth or a Social Security number) are entered on a secure Lead Friendly application page — not on this website — and are stored by Lead Friendly in encrypted form. Our contact page also embeds a map from Google Maps; loading that map is subject to Google's privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
This site stores your theme (light/dark) and language preference in your browser's local storage so your choice is remembered on your next visit. It also stores a random session identifier in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab, so our website analytics can count visits without identifying you. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at (253) 236-8984 or through our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Text (SMS) and phone communications
When you submit a form on this website or contact us by phone, you are asking us to get back to you, and you agree that Smart Motorz may call, text, or email you about that specific request, including by automated technology — for example to confirm an appointment, check availability, or follow up. The disclosure beside each form's submit button says this, and we keep a record of it with your request. Consent to be contacted this way is not a condition of any purchase, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Our text message program — appointment and test-drive confirmations and reminders, service reminders, financing application status, and account notifications — is separate and optional. You are enrolled only if you check the SMS opt-in box on a form, and you can submit any form without checking it. Providing your phone number does not by itself enroll you in that program or in marketing texts. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (253) 236-8984. After you reply STOP we will send one final message confirming your opt-out and will not text you again unless you re-subscribe.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.

This site may link to third-party services (for example, a secure credit application or Google Maps). Those services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
